I meant to say sd, not pd, but I'm glad you've already got it, pd. (These initials get confusing.)

They are playing Schoenberg second string quartet on Discovery programme. I have to say it sounds like an interesting work. The introduction was very good.
I am so glad that I cought the work on the radio.

I'm listening whilst sewing name tapes, ironing and occasionally popping in here to look on the boards.

Schoenberg's music inspires me to choreograph modern ballet in my head every time.  I'm performing it of course - with the figure I had when I was 18, (6 stones dripping wet) - and it's amazing how supple I am whilst spinning and leaping around in my head.  Grin

It's now not the only head interior where a supple and Thoroughly Modern Milly is doing that Shocked

Um, I don't think I can safely take this any further without being transferred to the "Guilty or unusual musical pleasures" thread.

Moving swiftly on  Grin, I do like this new format of Discovering Music with the extra 30 minutes.  This programme is more than usually interesting with its talk of colours, mood and atmosphere.
