'tis even cold here. Predicted wind chill for today -25ºF.

Nice to see that the Waffle crowd are settling in comfortably. Hot (virtual) (_)] coffees all round says I.

No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.

I would love to wake up in the morning and see my car covered in 9cm of snow!  Grin

It's been a glorious day today and not a cloud in the sky. It's very crisp outside, though!

Great, I have a long-arm brush and a shovel you can come and get busy with if you like  Grin

It usually rains here too, but we are going to have snow or sleet. So much for global warming. I thought we were closing in on spring. I am going to run in circles for a while.

Yes, I have noticed how green and pleasant Ireland is whenever I am on an Easyjet flight from London Stansted! The grass seems browner this side of the pond!  Tongue

The worst two blizzards I remember were in 1987 and 1991. I remember the winters those two years were bitterly cold and we had well over 3 feet of snowfall - it lasted for days and days. We've not had snow like it since. :-(

By the way, schools didn't close back then as soon as a snowflake hit the ground!  Roll Eyes

I remember as a child we seemed to have snow every Winter, I suppose because we don't get it now we are so ill prepared and it causes such disruption.

By the way Scott, I am sorry I was a bit sharp last night, it was the shock of seeing you here  Cheesy

When tis cold.... furry hat, gloves, cord trousers, thick socks and if really bad, a warm bath in the morning.
