A million, the end of the universe or Uxbridge. Whichever is the nearer.

[Where is that fine London Transport omnibus bus going? I can just about make out High Wycombe. Is it really going to Totteridge? O brave old world that hath such bus routes, innit.]

No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.

It's from the Oxford-Chiltern bus page, if that helps. Does it? I know nothing.

It's there in the middle!

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Oh dear, sorry, Mr S. I spent some time seriously wondering which sign was the name of the station and which the advert. I had concluded that 'Paulina' was so unlikely as a place name that 'New Vantage Ultra Lights' must be the station. 'New Vantage' just sounded very Chicago somehow, all very aspirational and upwardly mobile and deriving possibly from an early Oxfordshire/Dutch settlement called 'New Wantage'. Not so?

[Psst. Your 2428 has only appeared as one of those little red crosses  -  on my screen anyway. And I'm dying to see what a modely acht looks like...... Ah, it's now appeared. Mmm, it's 'yar' (in best Katherine Hepburn voice) which I've just realised may be the very same word as 'yare' in that bit at the beginning of The Tempest...possibly.]
