OK.  The rest of you are SO wrong!  Isn't it obvious?  Let's hear from Dr Jung.....

The key is that Rube's friend had a birdy Rook on a string.  Avian rooks are renowned for being sociable at roosting time, if you know what I mean, in their rookeries.  Obviously, Rube's mate is into orgies, and the string only goes to show that his/her desires have connotations.  Pigeons, on the other hand, are sociable but it a much more dirty way than Rooks (anything you want to share, Ruby?), but seeing as Ruby is associated with a recently fledged pigeon we can rest assured that this is a recent character trait, and not something well practised.  The whole scene was set in a 'park' where people were there to look after the 'birds' - it's all adding up, isn't it?  The only stumbling block is the lorry - until you realise it was a Juggernaut.  Then the phrase 'went like a Juggernaut' immediately springs to mind and everything is illuminated.  Clearly, Ruby needs to get together with her friend and his/her many friends in a group liaison and go for it like the clappers.

Of course, the whole interpretation hinges on whether that was an avian rook or a chess piece.  Look now at how Dr Jung interprets these dream symbols with the misinformation that it was chess-led.

The key is that Rube's friend had a chess Rook on a string.  Chess players inhabit a brilliant but solitary world played out in their heads, and Rooks only move in 2 directions.  Obviously, Rube's mate is a genius but very inhibited and shy, and the string only goes to show that his/her feelings are always reined in and never let free.  Pigeons, on the other hand, are stupid gregarious creatures which make mess everywhere (anything you want to share, Ruby?), but seeing as Ruby is associated with a recently fledged pigeon we can rest assured that she is only just beginning to feel like she is inadequate in the company of her friend.  The whole scene was set in a 'park' where people were there to look after the 'birds' - In New York, people play chess in the park without a care for the birds, so perhaps Ruby feels she is being let down by her chess-playing friend.  The only stumbling block is the lorry - until you realise it was a Juggernaut.  Juggernaut is close to "Jug-or-nought".  Clearly, Ruby needs to split company with her closed-hand over-brainy friend, preferably by getting blotto on a few jugs of beer - or else it will all come to naught.

Helpful, Rubes?

That was quite quite brilliant Tommo and all true.  All of it.  The avian one and the rook one.  I must choose my friends more carefully.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Now this is my first attempt at t-i-n dream.

I think the first half tells me that the bad period is over. You passed your exam well. You are moving in a new direction and you are meeting new friends.
This new friends are good influence on you and they protect you from gestapo and other elements.
As things calm down and settle down the beautiful melody appears. It is a melody (leitmotif) of happiness. It is getting closer and closer, and before lond everything is enveloped in it.

That is first reading of madam Orlova, but she is not in good form today. She may try tomorrow again.

This is a fairly standard performance anxiety dream (although why I should be anxious about performance is a mystery: I don't have any concerts to play for months!).

All I remember is this: I'm sitting at the piano onstage with the orchestra. It's in Vienna at some extremely posh, extremely Viennese private music society gig in an opulent hall with chandeliers etc. Some guy is making announcements in German (which I don't understand), at the conclusion of which a phalanx of strangely-dressed men slowly march ceremoniously, in formation, to the stage and bow, then take the announcer's robe from him and march slowly back again. I am about to play Beethoven's 3rd concerto, but seriously doubt I can remember it having done no practice and not played it for 25 years. I am dressed in pyjamas.

This is easy dream to understand.
There are three possibilities.

You are going to either have a performance in Germany or else you may get some kind of acknowledgement for your compositions. You could go to some gathering of collegues (like a conference type of thing).
The other possibility is that you can get work comissioned from abroad (or may be from your own country).
It is possible that you will just have happy gathering with friends.
Madam Orlova is not in her best clairvoyant state today.
We have others who can show their skills.

My friend always says: It is a day of our life. He means that one has to enjoy every day and make it special. (This is how I understand what he says).
