Interesting thread...I have recurring naked dreams - not terribly exciting just very worrying and always a relief to wake up.
One predictive dream - well, it seemed to be at the time but I suppose it was just a coincidence. The night before travelling back to university in Aberystwyth when I was a student, I dreamed that I was sitting on the train when suddenly it bumped up and down violently as people were throwing themselves onto the tracks in front of the train. Horrible. The next day, as the little train was chugging along the Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth line, the train bumped up and down, braking abruptly, then stopped. I sat there frozen in a state of terror! After a while, the guards came down the train to explain that we'd hit some sheep straying on the line.
The only dream in which I was killed was about 30 years ago. I was in a First World War trench and I was shot in the neck. I woke with a terrible crick in my neck.
I recently looked up interpretations of dreams as I had one which seemed to be pretty symbolic. I was crossing a bridge with a friend and was concerned that it looked a bit dangerous as some of the wooden supports were falling down. My friend assured me it was safe. I was then by the water's edge and in the shallow water I could see quite distinctly 5 dice...

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

From which we can deduce that you do not sleep naked? I recently looked up interpretations of dreams as I had one which seemed to be pretty symbolic. I found after reading a lot of Dali that I began to have a great many psychoanalytical symbols popping identifiably into my dreams, which made "interpreting" them a rather easy and enjoyable affair (whether one takes such interpretations seriously is another matter entirely though!).

Last night, my wife dreamed that we had run out of tomatoes.
This is a good example of why perhaps I don't remember my own dreams? Is it something in the water?

Had you run out of tomatoes? And is your wife a tomato merchant of some sort?

And is your wife a tomato merchant of some sort? No and no. That's the point. Local dreams are banal.

When I dream about places, the dream is usually "inside out", with houses on the opposite side of the road etc., as if seeing the place in a mirror.
(I dont think I'm expressing myself very well!)

No word of a lie. Last night I dreamt that a bunch of us went to visit Milly Jones at work. I think my subconscious must have muddled Milly up with Jan or Mort, who acually do work in the medical profession in some capacity, but when we arrived at Milly's place of work she was in a white lab coat and filing labelled specimens. Of what I do not know, or remember. And in fact that's all I remember at all, except that there were at least 10 of us, although the only person I can recall is Ron. And he kept taking photos.

Oh Martle, not the white lab coat fantasy again. Sigh. Was there any mud wrestling involved?

Actually - I wouldn't be one of those in the white coats! Barmy Milly... But thank you for dreaming about me anyway.
