He was most upset when I told him that his spurious claim on the cheesecake question was invalidated by the Second Law of Thermodynamics. He`s tried this before with custard.

I think you`ll find that it was the wildebeest next, actually. I could be wrong though.

Can anyone recommend any good second-hand CD stores in Liaoning province (China)? Ooh, and perhaps the best place to get a latte, too!

I absolutely take your point, but the mention of the sauerkraut was unnecessary under the circumstances. In fact I consider it to be deliberately inflammatory. He only has himself to blame.

found this on wikipedia and have highlighted all the salient points:
[Early trampoline-like devices It could be said that a kind CRUMPETS of trampolining was done by the Inuit people who used to toss each other into the air on a walrus skin, something like the sheet used by firemen STANDARD LAMPS to catch people jumping out of burning buildings.
There also is some evidence of people in England having been LEMONS tossed into the air by a number of people holding a blanket.
These may not be the true antecedents of the modern sport of trampolining, but it is certain that in the early years of the 20th century some acrobats used a "bouncing bed" on the stage to amuse LUBIN audiences. The bouncing bed was in reality a form of small BARRY?! trampoline covered by bedclothes on which the acrobats performed mostly comedy routines.
i think we should all take a moment to reflect.

Can I just say that all these cavalier dismissals of modern music show insufficient respect and deference for those who put so many hours into producing it?

Sun beds and umbrellas are available to rent although availability cannot be guaranteed as this is a public beach.

That wouldn`t be such a problem if the pilchard population wasn`t in decline. It`s bad enough with the sofa bed crisis. And as for the muffin situation, well, don`t get me started. It`s time the Goverment started taking this seriously, goddammit!

I have it, on good authority, that it is Roundheads that dismiss modern music and not the laughing ones.

...... and I was briefly reminded of a Grecian urn for some unaccountable reason. Which was strange because we were having lunch in the Calcutta Chophouse.
