The city is a process which always veers away from the form envisaged and desired, ... whose revenge upon its architects and planners undoes every dream of mastery. It is [also] one of the sites where Dasein is assigned the impossible task of putting right what can never be put right. - Rob Lapsley

Kind of depends when Muttley gets his backside into gear though when he actually makes up the ground, hm?

Obviously he's chickened out. Bottled it. Lost his nerve. If he's Muttley, who's his Dick Dastardly? Tommo Slumming it in the nether regions of the 3000s

Obviously he's chickened out. Bottled it. Lost his nerve. Well I did tell him people were starting to talk but he just posted a picture of a tittering hound. (I still reckon he'll beat me to 6,000 though.)

The number of shops close to Exhibition Road which appear merely to sell bathtaps has never ceased to astonish.

There are a lot of shops that are closed here too, but mostly clothes shops.
There were building so much that I thought the whole world is going to move over here. I know several office buildings that are vacant for more than three years. Now many workers on building sites are losing their jobs. It would be good if they employ them for building infrastructure. Most of the road work is going on in the East part of the country. I better stop, I can go on and on .....

I don't believe her. It's not possible without getting a nosebleed. Or dislocating something.
