The real-life model for New Music Weirdo is a friend of mine! Cheesy

That however is not something I didn't know about you.

I wasn't sure if the coincidence of those two identities was widely known.

Who's Claire Goose?

Coincidentally, 'Claire Goose' was the title of the opera Britten was planning shortly before he died.

Neither had I!

The tone of that Wikipedia article seems to go rapidly downhill from around this point onwards:
Quote
She has an older brother called Duncan, who is an entrepreneur who started up the "one water" company where all the profits go to the roundabout playpumps in Africa.

Who's Claire Goose?
I thought she was jolly good in Waking the Dead. Actually I'd probably go so far as to say that her on-screen death marked the end of what was, for me, an unmissable run of episodes  Embarrassed

I'm with you there, hh. That was a good run. I found myself yelling 'Noooooo!' at the screen when she, er, went. Interesting casting as part of that dysfunctional team

I liked Claire Goose in Casualty long before she was in Waking the Dead.

I once went to a concert at the school which Simon Rattle's kids attended.

I met Max Bygraves.

Who's Simon Rattle?

Anyone who finds his facial expressions while conducting just a little bit scary?

His first lot of kids, I presume, not the two little ones he has now with Magdalena Kozena? (Which school? I'm curious....)

I've been to things at the school Simon Rattle attended.
