I'd venture that finishing Music for 18 Musicians must have made a rather onticeable change of style/priorities more or less inevitable. onticeable adj. 1. a croquet player who is liable to go for those balls left in almost gettable places, 2. a cricketer who plays at balls that pitch a bat's length from the crease, 3. notable for being misspelt. Muriel ( sl.) to commit sudden and shocking acts of graffiti, esp. body painting, after Muriel, the Hebrew amazon who went forth in the strength of the Lord against the Schmuckites smiting them until they were black and blue. And the Lord God said unto Muriel, since thou has done this thing before me I spread my token in the sky above thee. And lo, a great bow of a multitude of colours appeared in the firmament. And Muriel said unto God, glad am I before the Almighty, and gay before my god.

Reiner Torheit n ( German, from rein, pure and Tor, fool) one's degree of pure foolishness or lack thereof, presupposing a poor understanding of adjective-noun agreement in the German language. "Da steh' ich nun, ich armer Tor, und bin so klug als wie zuvor!" -Goethe, Faust
