"The heroic chain gang bringing the English newspapers to Reiner's dacha each morning. "

"Mrs Jenkinson was very cruel. If the children misbehaved in the classroom, she still told them to stand outside".

"Determined to catch some fish, the children stayed beside the lake when the temperature dropped".

Or back on theme:

"The forecast was for a bright Spring day, and everyone was dissapointed".

There's an avenue of cherry trees in a park near where I live, I usually enjoy every year.

More spring flowers coming through. I found this grave quite a bizarre way to commemorate someone who'd died in a motor accident.

Hey Andy, I've passed that unique gravestone many times, is it in Selly Oak, I know there's a fine pub round the coner, The Bell.

My garden has lots of snowdrops and crocuses, and some primroses (the wild variety). The pink camellia has been in full flower for some time. It's very cheering after the miserable wet winter.

That is a very bizarre gravestone.

It's in the graveyard of St Peter's in Harborne John. Just round the corner from the Bell. Funnily enough, although I've walked round there lots of times, today was the first time I've noticed that gravestone - having your camera with you probably makes you look around you a lot more.

Thanks Andy, I thought they were jet vapour  Cheesy

Talking of suspect photos, looking at the Hagakure again....

The pink reflection in the water looks fake; the reflected blossom would have to be ON the bridge! Or maybe the bridge is fake?

Yeah?

Actually, I think that the reflection is of the slightly lighter blossoms on the opposite bank.
Erm. The more I look at that, the more confused I become. Time to clean my teeth and hop on a bus.

A sunny, if windy, day here today. The trees are coming into blossom and the daffs are coming out. Smiley

[cotitsalv]

I've had to distort reality a bit in the daffs pic as when I looked at it on the computer, I spotted a little bit of orange sweet paper which I hadn't seen when I took it.
