451 is Beethoven's No.7 in A Major, Op. 92 -- II. Allegretto

Correct on both counts Mr Inquisitor.

That's 2 of my "pizzicato trio" - one to go then.

 Cry

394 was from Handel's 'Serenata a tre' (and not, heaven forfend, opera) Aci, Galatea e Polifemo.
395 was from Weckmann's Wie liegt die Stadt so Wüste.
396 was from Telemann's Alster-Ouverture.

We shall be back with another three at some point but probably not for a few days.

Emboldened, may I present Puzzle 430.

Another clue for #430:  This work was written in 1955 by a composer from a region of Europe that has occasioned a hefty number of well-known nationalist and folkloric works.  This is not one of them.

Oh dear. Let's go for Rachmaninov's 1st Symphony then for No.452, just to complete the trilogy. The melody at 0:16 sounds so like Rachmaninov, yet there's something about those horns at the end which scream Tchaikovsky at me...  Embarrassed

Sorry no, it is not Rachmaninov's First Symphony.
