Hi greenfox,

I've heard the Mermaids Singing

Heh, yeah!
Didn't think many knew that film; I like it.
You do like your Eliot, don't you? Wink (That title's a line from 'The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock'; never heard of the film before though.)

I am arresting you under the terms of the 2006 Act of Parliament which forbids shooting puppies with arrows?

Correct Ted!!

Gosh! Olly's right. I had remembered it as 'Last Year in Marienbad' and was just kicking myself for not checking it before posting. But it turns out Ted and I are revealing which side of the Atlantic we each saw it (if Ted's avatar had not already given a clue Grin ).
