It's probably fair to say that I was fairly ecstatic coming away from that concert.
And I wasn't the only one.
A few of us had wobbly legs and cheshire cat smiles for a while.
Even quartertone likes it.
I fell asleep during that one and still liked the piece.

Surprising to see Dr Rhodes Boyson looking so well in retirement, over and above evident plumbing emergency.

But onthe ecstaticside-Magnus Lindberg starts with potentially dubious post-modern Mahler brief and writes something bloody marvellous. Tailor-made  for the customers too. Shame the announcer described his technique as 'playing around' but the audience got it anyway.
