Thought it was still Autumn!

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Agreed.  Detest winter.  Like heat.

However, seeing as this is the happy room, my piano technique is really returning now - after months of at least an hour a day practice!

Detest heat. Detest winter.

In fact there are only about 2 days each year when I'm happy with the temperature. Grin

I'm quite happy at either extreme - but I prefer winter, true winter, for how it looks.  I love snow and sparkling frosts but only if I have a centrally heated home and lots of warm clothes.  It's great when it's dark at 4 o'clock and all the lights are on in the houses.  Everything looks so cosy, especially at Christmas.

I am happy now. I have my ThermaCare on now (pain Relieving Heatwraps). I recommend it to you.
It is good in any weather.
In fact if you have it on the weather seems to improve.

NIce, t-p! Is it cold over there?

I'm happy because it looks as if I'll be involved in a REALLY exciting and unusual musical project over the next couple of years, involving very healthy musical things for me, like getting to know a repertoire which at present I know virtually nothing about at all; and working with a fabulous group of musicians, some of whom I have known since being a student. Oh, and it might involve exotic travel.  Grin Don't want to say any more about it now (partly out of fear of jinxing it), but wanted to share the feeling!  Smiley

t-p,

You've been away for far too long! I was starting to become worried about you: I've been posting photographs regularly in the hope that you'd call in. I hope things haven't been too bad for you: you seem to have been a little down lately...
