LOVEJOY

I once sat next to Tinker at the Proms!! (Schumann Piano Concerto and something screamy by Tan Dun, IIRC.)

You may be right. (I could probably find out by googling but it seems unimportant.) It must have been 1996 (or 95?) - night after, or before, the London premiere of Peter Maxwell Davies' Sixth Symphony.

composer of nine or ten identical symphonies
Good morning dude. There's a nice Mahler thread just waiting for you to post your opinions of his symphonies. I'm sure all Members are quivering with expectation.

Richard, I am more intrigued by the "nine or ten", which of the 11 is seen as the odd one out? Wink
