Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Snork, (Snorkel?), Snork. Loved that one, Mort Cheesy

I suppose it must have been Mathos-le-Rhymer, MabelJane, or a piratey colleague. There can't be that many pirates using Thameslink on a Saturday evening. I didn't check to see whether his musket was prepared but I'm sure it was.

Several rail networks are apparentlyrun by pirates,eg a southeastern commuter service\diverted from arundel to bognor regis recently in search of a legendary diamente-encrusted rum baba.

The Snorks!

I found an English introduction to the television series:

I must admit that I prefer the Dutch intro. It's more mysterious, with the wreck of captain Ortega's ship:

De Snorkels are cool! Cool

Poor marbleflugel, that unwanted trip to Bognor Regis was obviously VERY traumatic Cheesy. Perhaps some very short and non-stressful return visits with sympathetic health professionals to de-sensitize are called for Smiley

Hmmm, I see what you mean. It does look a bit disorientating for anyone coming upon it unexpectedly....

Well, some comfort was afforded by the fumes of a samovar, somewhat comprimised by the the fumes of a force 9 gale. I feel somehow Bognor is in my soul now, and it may appear in my oevre if I'm not careful.

Tea from the samovar tastes very well.
Would you like to have tea like that. They used to make fire from pines. Can you imagine the smell?

The Moomin books are lovely! Many thanks, Morticia. Smiley

For the cartoon series from the 1990s the opening and closing music was written by the notorious Dutch artist Pierre Kartner:

The great advantage of the cartoon series is that you don't have to listen to the voice of Richard Murdoch all the time:

"Look! There's the Moomin House!" said Thingumy in his tiny voice." Grin

Thanks pim for the link to youtube.
I am low on fairytails, but this one is familiar everywhere.

Is this fairytail by Green? His fairy tails were so popular when I was growing up.
