Anyone remember him ?

I most certainly remember Chris Barber trombone player and band leader. He was a cricketer as well in his younger days?

In 1910, Guillaume Apollinaire published a collection of stories called L'’Hérésiarque et Cie. In one of the stories the Cinematographic International Company is founded. This company produces reality films: we see the president of France in his sleep, the birth of the Prince of Albania and even a real murder. Apollinaire was not only an interesting poet, but also a wonderful storyteller.

Why did we pass this Animal farm?

It goes with George Orwell.

I suppose amusing historical trivia is one of the dim perks of having a friend like pim derks.
