Thank you (and it's still my birthday now, on the 27th)! Wish I was still that young - my birth year was this:

Really A? I can not imagine how it can be done. Are we in danger? I 'll run under cover (under the table) and will not come out all day.

I can come out from under it for a cake though.

I did 10 rounds with mine at about 2 a.m., this morning.  Could I change it?  No.  Andy was very patient and helpful - I kept following the same process over and over and then bizarrely after about 30 minutes, it suddenly worked!

Technology eh?   Roll Eyes

Ho Milly!

I still can't put 'my' pictures on the message. I can put ones from google, no problem, but I can't seem to work the other out. John said it was a blonde thing, I'm tempted to agree although I don't class myself as blonde!!

Hi A and others,

You need somewhere online to store your pictures, then you can quote the URL just as you do for googled pix. People here seem to be using photobucket, which I know nothing about, but there are other alternatives eg Flickr which is very popular. I use the free webspace which comes with my ISP quite a lot eg see my 2 cat pictures on the Waffle 1133/1137 - some of you will have seen them before.

Blogging is also a great way of holding a chat like this with a few invited friends since you can post googled pictures but also upload your own pix to Blogger at a very acceptable size (1600 px wide) - and everything integrates quite nicely ie you can post your text and upload yr pic all in one go. There also appears to be no restriction on how many pix you can upload so it's ideal if you want to creat a photo blog. My niece was in NZ and SE Asia last summer and she uploaded pix she took onto her blog using internet cafes so everyone back in blighty was able to see them almost as soon as she'd taken them.
