Excellent joke I have to say.

Well now I've offended people with my forthright opinions, my last grump of the day is that people are offended by my forthright opinions.  Grin

Milly, I'm glad we can have forthright opinions here. Obviously that's going to entail occasional arguments and heat; but that's life, innit? We just have to remain sensitive to the intellectual, emotional and aesthetic dispositions of others - as in any community, I guess...

I agree Martle, as long as people are sensitive to my disposition as well.  It shouldn't be all one way you know, as it seems to be in these very politically correct times.  Smiley

Anyway, if you read the form that I gave the link for you will see that absolutely nowhere on there does it mention migraines!  Grin

Milly, that wasn't directed at you! But I meant to say, a lot of this seems to have engendered by your 'form', and its layout. Is this NHS? I can't quite believe that... it seems very slapdash, if so, these days.

Yes it is the actual NHS form.  I googled a copy of it to show you all exactly what it said re. HIV etc., and the gay community.

I was very disappointed that I was knocked back because I was looking forward to doing my bit for society as it were. However, it was for my personal health benefit and they were very sweet about it.  I was told, if possible, to try and find someone else to donate on my behalf which was a good idea.

Please don't think I want to stiffle debate or that I disaprove of people with forthright opinions.  I just thought that discussion earlier was a bit of a mix of beliefs and a stance against an injustice, but all elements being so strongly related to personal viewpoints that it seemed better discussed via personal message.

Thanks

I've got a grump. This new (4 weeks) laptop, that I got to replace the stolen one, is frequently refusing to start properly, and gives me confusing messages and instructions for repairing it, which I don't understand AT ALL. I don't think it's anything I've done. Other people's computers seem to work - though judging by the number of firms offering help perhaps they don't. I daren't get involved in any online transactions in case it gives up halfway through.

I don't know how computers work and I don't care - I just want them to do what they're supposed to do.

I know what you mean Mary. I think that stationary computers are more reliable and more powerful. I understand next to nothing what is wrong with the computer. It froze several times and I just unpluged it, waited a little and turned it on again. I think computers are human (or at least animals with their characters and quirks).

I've said it before and I'll say it again: they'll never catch on.

Here's a grump... yet again, again, again, my avatar has been changed by someone. I have tried everything, uploading, copying from internet, using my own photo , but still it happens --so..... I'll have nothing rather than some rude or offensive picture someone else decides I should have.

GRUMP< GRUMP<GRUMP

That's very strange, A, very strange indeed. Does anyone know how that happens?
