I found the messiah-type references about the Doctor a tad overwrought and, well, a bit silly really. I hope they do better with the Christmas special than they did last year. I like Catherine Tate but she was just so miscast. Ron, I am deeply impressed by your powers of rememberance! What were the final lines from the last series? They seem to have disappeared into the leaky seive that is my memory. Her: What? Him: What? (Not so difficult to remember, really, Mort.) |

 Hello old and young grumpy monsters, How are you this morning? I think the weather is a little better today and all is well with the world, or at least well enough to make and listen to some music. I am investigating smaller record labels. So far I though that Naxos was small, but my information is outdated. I want to investigate really small labels and what kind of music they offer. Therefore I am busy and not grumpy. |

But the principle holds - I thought it was a chain saw in The Shining...wasn't it? I didn't actually see it myself because I'm easily scared.  I love Jack Nicholson but only in comedies. |
