This is what's happened in Hampshire this year (sensibly, I think).
Derbyshire too according to a headteacher friend who works there.
We had a 'long weekend' over Easter and we break up for our two week break this coming Friday. If we'd broken up at the 'normal' time (i.e. before Palm Sunday) it would have meant that the half-term was only 3 weeks long and'wed have had a very lengthy summer term.
I'm glad to be on holiday now, especially after that Ofsted, but yes, the fast approaching very lengthy summer term's going to be a killer!  Sad At least we get 2 weeks at the end of May/beg of June. Smiley But our term then goes on right to the end of July. Sad

Sorry to be moaning about teaching (despite the pressures I love it really) but this is the Grumpy Room.

Back? Maybe that's your problem, they should have gone forward Cheesy

Once you've changed your clocks, properly, then you would be going to bed 1 hour earlier anyway Roll Eyes

I'm feeling irrational anti-work today.
Something to do with not going to bed at a sensible hour (which also resulted in me not waking until the postman buzzed at 10:30), but there are emails waiting for me that I really should answer but...

I also have to get to Durham this week to work on the corrections to my thesis but...

There is also a piece to finish in fairly short order...

I want to go shopping and walk in the sunshine. Maybe I'll see if I can crash my website by consulting Yellow Pages.

I have replied to some important emails today.
I haven't travelled to Durham (probably tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow and... ) yet.
I have been working on my piece in an attempt to get it closer to the finished stage (which appears to be working).
I did not go shopping.
I did not walk in the sun.
My browser (not website Embarrassed) did not crash when I used the Yellow Pages website.
I have a headache and feel a bit physically rubbish but apart from that...

But to more pressing matters:
I seem to have lost an hour.
Has anyone seen it?
