Well A - my view is as follows: when one gets into that ghastly "American" sort of mood, it's probably time for bed (pink PJs or no-PJs!).

Please forgive me, this is an extremely silly and trivial rant, although I suspect it`s probably a symptom of a bigger annoyance, anyway.....

I checked up on the Marks and Sparks online ordering today. I can`t really get out at the moment and I am desperate for a new dressing gown and PJs, so I thought I could order them and have them delivered.

Shriek!!!!! When I looked at them they were nearly all bluddy PINK!!  I do not under any circumstances do PINK!!! Baby pink! Argghh! And when they weren`t  PINK they were white or a half-hearted green. And another thing, most of the dressing gowns were short. I want covering my ankles length. Warm. Cosy. Winter length. I want something wine coloured, dark mauve. not bluddy, silly pink.

The only non-pink ones were black, and they were `pregnancy pyjamas` which would be too big.

I suspect I will have to raid the M & S mens night attire section. They must have dark colours there? Don`t care if they`re too big.

Grrrrr

I`m sure I`ll feel better tomorrow! Mumble, mutter, mumble.

P.S. I apologise to anyone here who likes pink. It`s just a `me` thing.  Pink gin, anyone?

Mort,

Why do it? Why waste yourself on things like PJs (pink or no-pink, M&S or no-M&S, online or offline)? Just save yourself the hastle, worry and MONEY by doing the sensible thing: sleep WITHOUT THEM - it's really fun!

Baz,

It`s also  b-l-e-e-d-i-n-g  COLD.  If you have no need of yours, please send them over to Norf Lunnon c/o The Post Office.

Youirs in anticipation
Mort

P.S. I already have bedsocks.

So really SORRY Mort! You didn't make it clear enough to me that the problem was one of temperature.

I thought in my innocence it was merely one of colour. Silly me!!!

Ho Mort,
Strange youshould mention nightware as Lynn was also looking at pyjamas at M&S earlier too and said she wouldn't buy something called "ditzy" 'cos it was a stupid word.  She did comment on the preponderance of pink as well.
Oh well, off to bed now {yawn}
Jonathan,

Lynn was quite right. There was a design called  `Ditzy`. I didn`t even look at it. `Ditzy`, for Heavens Sake!

Ah well, at least I have one of those to keep my toes warm. Although I suspect I keep more of him warm than he does me. Hah! He`s no fool. Grin Grin
