I was thinking of simplifying the whole equation by saying that the following make me cross:
Other human beings
Any other living thing
Inanimate objects
Myself

Is yourself absolutely sure about this?

hh,

Hmmm. Well, myself would agree with you on the `inanimate objects`, but only  when they they attack me without provocation e.g. furniture, doors, door handles etc. I hurledextremeleyl  bad language at my umbrella once when it became unruly. I couldn`t understand why my friend collapsed into giggles.

I get exasperated with myself when, well, don`t get me started! But generally I think I tolerate meself quite well. I don`t think that getting cross with oneself serves any useful purpose. You then end up getting cross with other people because you`re cross with yourself, they then get p`d off with you and .... oh, I feel giddy just thinking about it!

Another one to add:

Buying a new piece of kit for your PC which is "very easy" to fit and when you do, it DOESN'T BLOODY WORK even though I've read the manual (for a change)!!!!!!!!!!

Oddly, the old one still does work which makes we wonder if it's a faulty drive?

OK. It's got to the point now where I'm too cold to concentrate properly.
I'm going to put on some extra layers, start cooking lentils for my dinner (and look up the recipe for sponge pudding).

I recommend chocolate cake for good mood. I just had chocolate ice cream on a promenade and I am not cold (though it was not too warm on the promenade).

I I would be grumpy if they gave me this.

Indeed, Bryn.  Let's hope that it stays in its own waters.

Simon, just out of polite curiosity, to what does this refer?

Me too, and it was so frustrating because I've just got back online, after having my computer stolen, and was so longing to catch up!

Quite right, Bryn. After all, we wouldn`t want to `carp` on about it, would we? Grin Grin
