One of my musical "guilty pleasures" is listening to Bob Dylan's show on BBC 6Music. I don't have a DAB radio, listen through cable tv. But stereo of a certain vintage only seems to play one channel of the recording. Have just had Jimi Hendrix playing Wind Cries Mary but all that could be heard was Noel Redding's bass. More recent recordings and older mono tracks sound fine but several times I've heard this channel drop out for sixties recordings. Last week it was Let's Dance by Chris Montez and all that could be heard was the drum track. No big deal in this context but I was curious if this was just on DAB cable or is it the same through a radio. I've noticed similar drop out of one channel on theJazz too when I've dipped into that.
