In a desperate attempt to redeem my reputation for veering off-topic, wasn't something by Shosta (on a good day, I could even remember which symphony, I used to have it on vinyl) used for the dramatization of "Huntingtower"?

The only production of Huntingtower that I can recall was way back in the late fifties, with James Hayter as Dickson McCunn.  Does the above post refer to this production or a later one that I've overlooked?

There was a bbckids' tv one about 75 with Shosta 7 wittily on soundtrack, who the beejesus was the lead now? John Standing possibly?
On a different tack I recalled John McAbe's sig to "Sam" the other day, and about the same time a v g doc by Arthur Taylor on his writing the Chagall Windows for Loughran and the Halle-directly reesponsibel for me starting to litter manuscript paper with my scrawl.

Oh, how could I forget this one? I grew to love a piece of music - it was used on a children's TV programme every week: Vision On, with the wonderful Tony Hart. His co-presenter Pat Keysall walked through the mirror into backwards land to the strains of Mozart's Oboe Quartet in F K370.

Gorgeous! It was years later that I found out what it was. It's been on my DID list since I was a child.

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Just thought I'd mention 'Another Green World' the oft heard sig tune for the arts program Arena. It is the title track of an album by you know who. Methinks this sig tune would also be very apt for Martle.
