Radio is [potentially] good for those who can't make live gigs; evn if you can make gigs, it is [potentially] a good supplement.
Eatingwhile you listen to music ; how can you concentrate on the food & the music at the same time. żDo you choke when it changes key?

no i eat in between sets. however i was there last week and it is all pop, lounge songsters and pop. i withdraw my reccy for the pizza express in dean st. there is no jazz in soho, or camden. dk about vortex, and suspect that Bulls Head is last bastion. Cost of getting to london is prohibitive in any case, now it aint worth going.

more live jazz on the radio would be fine, but not when it is just like soho.

i would rather drive to any major east midlands city, but there is not a lot of jazz to be found here. grim really. this is another way of making the case for a more authoritative approach to Jon3.

Most of the real jazz in London is the jazz-nite in a few suburban pubs. Central London overheads are too high for hardcore jazz venues I suppose.
