In the farthest northern reaches of Auchtermuchtenglenboglegorrie an elderly Scot once told me that I had "Kilt twae bairds wi' ain's tone!"

That means that it will not make it better if  too many people are looking after one thing.

Our equivalents to those would be

-  Silence is golden.  Also, Empty vessels make most noise.

-  Too many cooks spoil the broth

2. You have to chew everything for him and put it in his mouth.
