Looks like something has moved the earth for TOP. I seems to have fallen over, yet again.

[No sooner said than it's up and running again. Wink ]
You seems to have fallen over, yet again?

I'd drink lots of water and get an early night Cheesy

What? I only just got up, and now you're advising me to lie down again? Where's that cup of tea?

Did British seismologists predict this earthquake? Were they expecting one? I presume someone must be monitoring the movement of our earth movements, even if a major earthquake is unlikely.

Just found this site and answered their questionnaire:

Perhaps further reading there will answer my questions!

I don't think these things can be predicted MJ, they just happen and are recorded as they happen.

My favourite comment (on the Guardian newsblog) was:

Some jiffy bags were dislodged from some high shelving in our office. I can only thank God that no one was standing underneath at the time.

A BBC reporter rather nicely described it as "a very British earthquake". My local paper reports that someone dropped her cup of tea.

Both wonderful!
That boy was lucky to escape with only a broken pelvis though after the chimney crashed through the roof and landed on him.

I did actually find today that one of my shells (Strombus costatus) that was on display had moved slightly...
