I hope you enjoy it - it's outrageously sentimental (the moment with the kite is lovely), but I think the piece calls for exactly that.  Marvellous stuff, a real benchmark production.  I was initially doubting the way the Bystroucka's Wedding had been staged, but Engel has all his ducks in a row and gently spoofs you before giving you exactly what you'd wanted Smiley  Full marks for not flunking the death scene.
