A few years ago you had 2 SHOs on 6 month rotation with us. To the great, but quietly restrained, delight of us all their names were Dr Twaddle and Dr Balls I kid you not! Surely an opportunity here Mort? Why not make big money (in your spare time of course) by following Roger Hargreaves, and creating a new series called Dr Men? Baz

That's a great idea. If you need an illustrator PM me.

Onions from Waitrose. No, no, Rube, it's those Lead ions which will tear round the LHG at high speed and bump into others coming from the opposite direction.

There are many kinds of potions. There are pousin and there is pouncing and the name of the bird sounds similar (but I don't know how to spell it). And there is a fashion, but that is another matter.

Well, in fact, as it turns out, the Dobliner edition doesn't quite incorporate all of the differences
The Dobliner edition (c) A rival edition of Haydn's works prepared by Mr James Joyce and a fine bunch o' lads in offices overlooking the Liffey. The stream of Haydn's consciousness has been marked in green pen throughout the scores - the unique facet of this invaluable edition.

scrotum-tightening pen I can think of at least one ex-r3ok member who might have a use for such a thing, but Haydn?

Two students that are usually on Monday have bad hands (not coordinated hands), thumgs are stiff, etc.). After suffering for an hour with brother and sister I can rest now. They are fortunately bright.
thumgs n. Digits of the left hand set within thus...

From t-p, "speciment": I really did intend to put my proof-reading glasses on, but forgot.
[Also from waffle reply 5044, "Aftica": An Azanian penitentiary.]

I wish people forget their glasses when they see my posts. (whatever glasses, proof-reading or just reading, may be sunglasses are good to read my posts in).
