Someone told me once you should stand naked when making difficult phone calls as it made you more confident. Or was it you should imagine the other person naked? I always do both just to be sure.
Well, George, I was merely in my boxers (which I suppose counts as something of a half-way house) when, this very day, I had it out with British Gas. (I mean, I argued with them a lot. ) They, or rather their computer, are trying to impute that I have THREE accounts with them, two of which are registered under 'The Occupier', the other under my actual name. So far I have received three notices of imminent disconnection (ouch) and have had to spend about an hour in total arguing my case with them on the phone - and god only knows how much that will cost. Grr.

If you find you are not getting your point across on the 'phione, it might be better to hang up.

People should be wearing something like this when making complaints or any other calls. I never actually thought about what people wear when they are calling me.

My laundromat just upped its charge for a basic wash by 25%.
Sounds like a job for Morticia and her awesome powers of persuasion on the telephone. However do you do it, Mort?! All tips for making officialdom back down gratefully received. Someone told me once you should stand naked when making difficult phone calls as it made you more confident. Or was it you should imagine the other person naked? I always do both just to be sure. George, it`s quite simple. I rummage in my `gaze` bag, find the `verbal gaze` compartment and pull out the `steeley verbal gaze` option. Then hurl it at the buglers!

I resigned from the board. I submitted my letter of resignation. I feel relieved, but I am still sad. The wrote to me that they got the letter and everything is formal and the way it should be. I am still angry. I kept it in for too long.
I am looking at the woman with good vibes on the post before. She is very helpful.
This means you will have even more time to spend here, or do you plan on taking up some other politics; maybe campaigning for some local candidate in the elections?
