I can think of a good way of getting him to listen to pop music....as background you understand! I'll post you the details in a plain brown envelope.

When you people start up the 'I don't do popular culture' club, count me in please. I have to admit I was never too keen on Culture Club at the time. In retrospect a lot of their music was "hummable" though. I was very happy when I discovered Rupert Parker's recordings of popular music adapted for harp - he plays with great sensitivity and expression (and he also made at least one album of popular classics similarly arranged[ ] /mauled[ ] tick appropriate box) I have to agree with T-P once again, A. Don't try to change his point of view, love him just the way he is, and accept the bits you think could be better. People change over time anyway, the differences should even out.

Smeleys are in there if you press home then find Announcements, then smileys, then fetch them from Michael's message. Press that line in the corner so that computer puts it down somewhere (or sometimes up in tabs) and then back to where you were. I am sure there is a better way, but this is how I do it. Then if I want to post smeley I click wish left side of the mouse on the third line of a code in smiley (it copies) and then back on the post with the right click of the mouth it pastes it. Michael has nice smileys for us to play with

I keep a section in Favourites for the Smileys and Photobucket, R3 Message Board site and this site plus ALL sites I use re Music. Coupled with the Taskbar I find it's pretty quick to use and keeps all similar sites in the same area.

Your message, being a model of clarity (well done!) merely makes me worry about things being "put down somewhere" by the computer - I recently had completely to reinitialise my HD because of "things being put down" on the HD (Norton or no Norton). I'll stick to verbal emoticons I think. Baz <very puzzled><very grumpy><very pissed off>

Ho Tommo! I suspect he does have, with a shelf underneath for his Tusk Powder and Tusk Finishing Oil. He also keeps his inkwell there. Cheers

I am surprise at you people how you manage to cheer me up. I love the tusks, I think everyone should have them on their desk, the grumpy and not grumpy people.

Ok, I'll rant at myself for being useless, but I have done it the same way as I did before when it works... I'll try again... I put it in between the two brackets...yes? [/img]
