How the *bugger* have I ended up posting on these religion threads all the time and not talking about MUSIC? I think some action is called for! Time to listen me some more Schnittke, form more opinions, I think

(Why should I 'treat' myself after a [working] holiday? The answer to that may appear on the rant thread at some point... ) Just popping in to check if it has appeared yet. Ah, not yet. I'll have to rely on my own tentative, but increasingly detailed, hypothesis for a little while longer

George, before you run too far away with your hypothesis, I'll help you along with some choice words. Block. Mother. Admin.

Just come back from seeing the nurse. I've been weighed, measured and blood pressured, but I've got to go back next week for some blood tests. Largely just to tell me that I'm completely normal and set my mind at rest but I've been feeling faint quite a lot lately and I've lost a stone since May.

A broken heart is a terrible thing, hh xxx give yourself permission to feel faint and lose weight. It will mend eventually.

Pardon me, I didn't realise it was a link, it looked like a fairly run-of-the-mill growl.
Defamation? How can you "defame" a mass murderer?

By calling him a thief, it would seem.
I have nothing but admiration for people who still manage to turn out comedy in this day and age when reality seems to have burst the bounds of satire long ago.

Maybe it IS satire -- but careful about calling him a mass-murderer on a public forum! He might sue you!

Having lost my itunes library for the third time (I think) as I was trying to get rid of the exclamation marks that had suddenly appeared and having been informed ( for some reason ) that I now can't download any cds as all of a sudden my pc is not compatible with itunes .. ?? I have given up and will just keep my 30gb ipod as a sort of cd library which can't change, but can be enjoyed. I have bought a cowon iaudioX5 after my feller saw a message on the ipod thread saying how good they are.... 30gb , cost a lot, but... well I had a good reason at one time I then spent half the evening trying to record cds onto it , until along came partner's 15 year old son who has shown me how to do it ... useful for something I suppose !!! So I suppose I should now be on the happy thread.... A

New Grump seeks permission to join My plumber phoned and cancelled - his excuse being that HE was also waiting in for a domestic tradesman I believed him as I've used him before and he's a decent bloke, but still... So I face another day of flushing the loo with a bucketful of water, and another occasion of having to beg indulgence from my boss for not showing up until almost lunchtime Oh yes, and when I described my faulty cistern to the plumber, he had never heard of the brand and was dubious about being able to get parts

No need to get permission to grump around here, Ruth! It comes naturally to most of us. I HATE it when things like that happen. It's the wasted time that gets to me most (he says, chatting away on the messageboard instead of working ). Totally infuriating. I recently waited in a whole morning for a delivery, which failed to arrive by 12 as promised, then had to go out. What do I find when I get back? A card saying they'll try again between 9 and 12 the next day! Aargh!
