Ah well, at least I have one of those to keep my toes warm. Although I suspect I keep more of him warm than he does me. Hah! He`s no fool. Grin Grin
Being a foot-warmer is a hard job.
Giving warmth has a tendency of rendering you ice cold.
At which point you are thrust away because you're too cold.
Well pardon me.

Mort, you amaze me!  How can you not like pink?  I love pink - to the extent that I've bought new pink gloves and bag today, to go with my pink ankle boots!  I was also wearing all pink jewellery to go with my outfit!

You don't like pastels at all? Oh dear...better not tell you about the lemon ensemble then.... Embarrassed

Mort, re. jim jams - do you have a TK Maxx near you?  I noticed last week they have a lot of nice dark-coloured full-length dressing gowns and also pjs.  Also Debenhams had a nice selection of towelling ones last time I looked.

Milly,

I can`t sleep now for the Pink Pyjama Trauma that is overhwelming me Grin Grin

Actually, I have been know to wear some pink. I think it`s what was known as Schiaparelli Pinkl. Pretty damn vivid. But not as a whole outfit. Just the odd touch, you know. Contact lenses....

I sort of imagine black and deep red would be more Mort's colours - or am I wrong?

(call me ignorant if you like - but how can jewellery be pink?)

Have you never heard of pink sapphires?  They're beautiful and very popular at the moment!  I also have some pink crystal costume jewellery and "handbag jewels" (you know the sort that hang on a little chain from your handbag...)

I love dark colours too Mort and wear a lot of black and purple.  I also wear a lot of bright red!  Oh dear the mental picture this must be conjuring up  Embarrassed  Those of us with strong colouring can take bright colours and pastels you see....well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Make an entrance I say!

You`re spot on there, Ian, But let`s not forget the various shade of mauve/purple. In fact the mauve/purple is a bit of a standing joke with friends. My ideal dressing gown would be either deep purple or burgundy coloured. And, of course, WARM Cheesy

Milly, I`ve just googled TK and there is a branch in Brent Cross. Still, better than Oxford St. If I was really brave, I`d go there tomorrow. Gulp!

You`re right Milly. Us brunettes can get away with with quite a bit. I put my pink/pastel allergy down to those little fluffy pink/blue angora matinee jackets I had to wear as a child.

I'd go to Oxford Street if I were you.

The branch in Preston has good stuff in, but there is such a fast turnover of stock that if you see something you just have to grab it.  I've had a look on my way in to the shops, seen something, decided to get it on the way home to save carrying it around - come back and it's gone!  They do have nice nightwear and undies though - unusual styles and colours.

Some more pink stones - rose pink quartz I think this is...

`'d go to Oxford Street if I were you. `

On a Saturday!! Wild horse, rather stick needles in my eyes etc. Frankly, Brent Cross isn`t much better, but at least one can press up against the store fronts to avoid the people!

Ian is still here, just glancing over at the board when taking breathers from writing. Pink extravaganzas are fine with me, though the colour does tend to make me think of blancmange.

Try Camden Market instead.
