Der Überschwang?	ever dry up?
Ergossen war nach allen Weiten	All the overflow had burst out
Der Überguß.	into the distance.
Wohin verlaufen hat das Wasser	Where did the water run out to
Sich über Nacht?	in the night?
Es eilt wohl, um mir zu bereiten	It hurried quickly, to leave me without
Nicht Überdruß!	preparation!
Vorüber eilt des Glückes Fülle,	The happy abundance has run off,
Und rauscht von fern	and roars in the distance
