This is an international 2 day symposium happening in the music department at the University of Hertfordshire. It's mounted by Jeremy Arden - he's a music lecturer there and a Schillinger expert. For those to whom Schillinger is just a name, here's a bit of background info :-

   1600   Break and preparation of room for concert.
   16.30-17.30   Jonathan Powell plays Schillinger’s piano music.
   17.30-18.30   Drinks, discussion and debate as well as another chance to see the exhibition.

“Systematic” Gershwin: evidence for the Schillinger System in Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess.
