Members should be aware that the Forum Administrator(s) will occasionally 'tidy up' some of the board sections. Not removing threads, but moving them to the correct topic section. An alert message will usually inform visitors to a section from where a thread was moved.

For example, today a thread about 'E-mail Display' was moved from the General Radio 3 section to the Welcome Section as it provides a useful guide to new posters about one aspect of the board which has confused some people.

It feels odd that I have the power to actually remove my postings or even an entire thread that I have started. I just removed one so I could re-start it (but I informed the other poster directly by e-mail that I would do it).

It could be a useful function, but it could also cause offence to others who had taken the time to post.

Hi Flay,

I can see how it could become a feature that could become quite frustrating and annoying, but also could be useful.

In the future, if it becomes a problem, I can remove that access from all users, and make it so that only Moderators and Admin can do it.  Grin
