From The Moderation Team

In response to the complaints that we have received regarding the tone and nature of posts from Swan_Knight over the past few days, and bearing in mind that we had already sent him a private warning concerning a previous post, we regret that we have now had to issue the following public warning:

"Dear Swan_Knight,
You are no doubt aware from the general tenor of replies on the board to your recent comments that you have considerably alienated yourself from the general community. What you cannot be aware of, however, is the number of complaints that we Mods have received concerning your recent behaviour, including promulgation of racist attitudes and open attacks on members (one such including sexual innuendi which were found to be particularly offensive). Since you have quite obviously chosen to ignore our previous private warning, the time has come to issue one in public.

If you have no intention of participating in discussions in a courteous and civilised manner, preferring instead to reject forum etiquette, then, regretfully, we must inform you that this board is not to be the place for you. The complaints that we have received make it plain that members feel that an apology is due to the board in general, and we are therefore asking you to do this by tomorrow (Wednesday) midnight. Failure so to do will incur a temporary restriction, permitting access to the board for the sending and reading of Private Messages and reading of threads, but forbidding any posting. Once again, the choice is yours: if you wish to remain a member of the community, you must agree to abide by its rules and etiquette: if, on the other hand, you feel that such behaviour is alien to your way of operating, then we would respectfully suggest that you should find another place in which to pursue your discussions.

Yours sincerely....."
