You would not believe the trouble I have had with the Brighton and Hove Council planning committee ....

Well now, George, as it happens I do have to be in St Albans on business in the next few weeks.  I wonder whether you would like a cosy chat about the novels of Barbara Pym over a capuccino?

I think I'd better start the disillusioning process over that photo in that case. Smiley  In an identity parade I'd come out as considerably closer to my Little Wolf than I am to that.

But yes, if you really are heading to St Albans, of course! A capuccino may be a little racy in the circumstances; a milky Nescafe and an iced bun perhaps if our coupons will stretch to it?

Only kidding, George.  I'm sure we'll meet some time, but I am not going out to St Albans in the near future, nor am I so crude in my pickup technique with beautiful young men.  I am sure you must realise I do not have a tattoo or read The Daily Mail.  (If I had a cat, I would not even use the Mail for cat litter.)

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Blimey, PW. Those South Downs look a lot more forbidding these days.  Cheesy

Not so, John. I use photobucket and very occasionally my avatar gets changed without any action from me, and I have to restore it.

Our photobucket Bryn?

I suppose images with same name can replace, but usually they add a -1 or something. But come to think of it I do recall some of our homepage images getting deleted, any member can delete stuff.

Seems the only time Scott posts here is to say his avatar has changed but at least he uses the avatar thread Cheesy

Oh no, the disappearing avatar!

Put them on myforum365 and they're liable to vanish.

Sad

I don't longer want to have an avatar on this message board.
