Thanks tinners, that's a surprise, I've not been monitoring statistics recently. I see my time logged now exceeds a month

The city is a process which always veers away from the form envisaged and desired, ... whose revenge upon its architects and planners undoes every dream of mastery. It is [also] one of the sites where Dasein is assigned the impossible task of putting right what can never be put right. - Rob Lapsley

The even bigger question is this: why does each one of the last 4 posts from John W bear the same number 2502? Mysterious indeed! Baz

You'll now find that all my posts say 2503 posts. It's a pity they are not individually numbered.
As Ollie says, post no 2501, I posted something to the mods on the admin section.

Indeed tommo, an intersting statistic posting: New game - picture association 5697 The Grumpy Old Rant Room 5022 New Musical Connections 3995 one to a million! 3840 THE HAPPY ROOM 3710 and other members are most keen to see what we're grumping about: page views: The Grumpy Old Rant Room 83040 New Musical Connections 72043 New game - picture association 70442 THE HAPPY ROOM 66793 R3boards was clearly a poor choice of name for this forum

Seeing as I'm down the pub tonight, I reckon I will miss the posting of the 100,000th messageon this forum This is (possibly) message 99923 looking at the STATS page (but is in fact message 101883 which suggests we've deleted/archived over 1000 messages!)

I thought it might be easy to find the real 100,000th message but a search needs to know which topic. After browsing the Coffee Bar (while listening to footie) I began looking at other boards, and I am pleased to say that the poster of the original 100,000th message was Il Grande Inquisitorand the message is here http://r3ok.myforum365.com/index.php?topic=1074.msg100000#msg100000(might have to scroll up a bit)anyway, enjoy fighting over tonight's new 100,000th message John

anyway, enjoy fighting over tonight's new 100,000th message John Much as you seem to enjoy the odd bit of argy-bargy yourself, John, do you really think it behoves an administrator of the board to encourage fighting of any variety, even in jest?

Wouldn't have thought anyone will be keeping a keen eye on the multiple K bagging meter tonight. There's got to be more to life on a Saturday evening. Unless I've got things terribly wrong ... I rather fancy a gander at 'Pride and Prejudice' ce soir. All those lovely frocks! It's a girl thing. Comes of having no tusks.
