I have recently started using a Zoom H4  "handy recorder" which I got some months ago. I have only used the integral mics so far, but intend to try it with a pair of large diaphragm condensers in the near future. However, even with the integrated mics I am pretty impressed.

Now I discover that the manufacurers have recently launched another device, the H2. This, unlike the H4, can only use its integral mics. However, it has four of them and can be used for either stereo (90 or 120 degree pairs, depending on orientation), or quadraphonic, using all four. I have only seen one review, so far, and it is rather enthusiastic, as far as it goes, (no lab tests - just subjective impression from an hour's use). Does anyone here have any experience of this device?
