Why does it  >:(keep buffering-and at random lengths? I'm running xp at average capacity on a`laptop-is there anything I can do to optimise the thing? Thanks in advance tecmeisters.

This may only be anecdotal but I've found buffering much less of a problem viewing with Firefox than IE; and that goes for watching iPlayer on an XP machine too.

Great, Thanks trj. I find IE:Firefox a bit unpredictable, in thatyou can't get rid of IE, but I might just make it through OLga Newirth and Havergal Brien this evening. Cheers.
