You are, I presume, aware that you can't record from the radio to a minidisc directly... You can listen to the radio or a minidisc, but you can't have both functions simultaneously, which it looks as though you're expecting.

Think I will have to ask around shops, though,at the moment, such good stuff on radio 3 it means that if i miss anything, something else that is good pops on up soon enough Smiley

Not minidisc, but one of these babies will record FM to mp3. Pricey, and doesn't look all fancy pants, but much better than an iPod.
