Hi,

In trying to help Rob_G out with a sound clip of Louis Glass' 5th Symphony I've worked out one way to play, or rather link to a music clip which resides on the net.

I've put this clip on the R2ok website so I can link to it. I had sought out a clip of the 5th symphony to illiustrate the method of linking and this is the start of the fourth movement entitled 'Shades'

Shades

I recorded the clip off the Amazon site onto my PC then uploaded to R2ok. This is not a commercial exercise so hopefully copyright is not really being infringed.

Members wishing to link to clips in the same manner should use the quote facilty to read the 'raw text' of this message and work out how this is done.

A fuller explanation will be offered to the blondes on site (soz)  Smiley

Plays fine for me using FireFox, John Smiley

What is the max size of file attachment permitted?

They say travel broadens the mind - but in many cases travel has made the mind not exactly broader, but thicker.

Well if one uses a link then there might not be a 'limit', it should not affect this website. But note that members without broadband will struggle opening files > 1 meg quickly.

I think the 'lads' on here are going to have to avoid references to blondes as being 'procedurally challenged'  Roll Eyes
