Can anybody direct me to a source on the Internet for Japanese CDs? One that speaks English (I find Amazon.jp a bit hit and miss, having no Japanese...).

I would very much like to get hold of a recently issued CD of Bruckner's 9th symphony with the revised version of William Carragan's completion of the fourth movement, performed by the Tokyo New City Orchestra under Akira Naito and released on Delta DCA-0032, supposedly on 28/2/07.

An e-mail message to the (erstwhile?) UK distributors of the Delta label has had no reply  Sad

It's not listed at present by these people, but it might be worth contacting them directly: what I have had from them was very efficiently despatched and not at all expensive; my feeling is that they advertise what they think people particularly want:

I note also that Oehms Classics have announced a Bruckner series with Young - perhaps they'll pick up that 9th.....

(the translation might occasion some amusement.)

Thanks, Ron - order placed  Smiley

(that site didn't have the CD the last time I looked)

Edit: Hmmm, I sort of wish I hadn't found out about that mumintokyo54 shop  Undecided

On the other hand... I shall shortly be the owner of Goodall's Tristan in a Japanese Decca CD pressing - at <£30 including airmail, half the price asked by European Decca during its very short catalogue life here  Smiley
