Today I discovered Katie Derham's programme on Classic FM and pleased to say it features complete works performed by LSO. Sundays 5.00-7.00pm.

Today we have a concert of music about sunshine and the countryside, I've listened to two pastoral symphonies - Vaughan Williams and Beethoven - and now for cowpat fans, music by Holst, Somerset Rhapsody.

Bonus: Katie has a lovely voice  Kiss

Thanks for that info John W - must catch this programme
Think its very easy to get an attitute that all CFM is popular lollipops inbetween ghastly adverts and smarmy presenters - of course there is a lot of this particularly during the day but if chosen carefully can get good music on CFM as well as R3  Cheesy

Qite.  Just a few weeks ago they played Rachmaninov's First Symphony in its entirety whilst I was out in the car--I missed the opening credit and spent the next 30 minutes trying to guess the piece!
