Hi, peeps!

Some *cough* years ago I heard a short piece (movement?) for strings & continuo and for the life of me now seem able only to associate it with Albinoni and the title Adagio for Strings (no, not *that Adagio!).

A (supremely dire) version of the opening is given here http://www.zshare.net/audio/89837934b8b9d6/ .

In hope, I wonder if any of the C 'n' I gathered here could help identify this piece...

Thanks, as they say, in advance!

I would try to identify it, but it won't play for me, and the download link seems to be circular in nature.

Really? It plays more smoothly for me than any of the Sendshare and Rapidspace links that regularly get posted on these boards (i.e. I don't even have to click to download a file, it just starts going as soon as I open the browser window).

I don't know what it is, though. Sorry. Roll Eyes
