That's what I like about ballet: nobody on stage talks (or shouts).

That was in fact my own little rendition of a very fine moment from the musical on that very subject starring Ned Flanders and Marge Simpson...
I believe it was called Streetcar! Vintage Simpsons.

I was just listening to the Messiah, as you do, Ives having finished, and I turned it off to see if that really was my flatmate singing along (which would mean he'd arrived home from work). It was. I opened my bedroom door to say hello and he asked me if I'd bought some fish, so I said no. (I hadn't.) He then pointed at the bag containing goldfish on the living-room table. Hmmm. It wasn't there this afternoon.
We suspect our other flatmate, but since he's the mysterious silent type and has retreated to his room as usual it may be a while before we find out the full story.

You do? It's that sudden inexplicable desire to be a drop of water, isn't it? I'm getting a bit worried about these goldfish, by the way. They're still on the table in a plastic bag. I asked other flatmate if they were his, he said yes, they were for a project (I'd guessed as much: he's some sort of art and media student). I asked him if he'd mind keeping them in his room and he said sure, no problem, but that was last night and they haven't moved yet.

Well, there's a little tin (not TIN) of goldfish food sitting by the bag, but I don't see any evidence of any of it having gone into the bag. I'd do it myself, but I don't like to interfere. It might affect his 'project'.
