Very nice, isn't it? And a remarkable achievement, in I, to sustain interest in a solo harp for 25 minutes. Got this one on eBay a few months back.

A fine, fine choice, EJ.
I might have to pull that one off the shelf sometime this week, too. I haven't listened to it in years.

Here it was the Schubert string quintet (Leipzig SQ + 1). My goodness me. The trio section of the third movement. I had to resuscitate myself after that.
...oo, look, 1500. Fancy that.

Ferneyhough - Carceri d'Inveintione 11b, (I blame Evan anf t_i_n for making me feel guilty about not listening to more of the CD earlier).

Leipzig Str Qt does a mean Webern, too: very hard to resuscitate oneself after that one as well. PS How do you resuscitate yourself? I'm a little afraid to ask...

Mark Osborn, Arms of Morpheus. Very fine it is too. Wish I had more of his stuff. As I'm sure we all do.

How highly do you rate that symphony dear Ron ?
The Lloyd I mean
I find it an absolutely stupendous occasional listen,
whatever that may mean.
I will rush immediately to my L section.
