Er, I don't have anything to say about it but here it is and perhaps it might interest some of you in one way or another.

[I don't know if a thread under this heading would have any use apart from alerting fellow boarders to rather astonishing manifestations of the musical arts, or whatever. Up to you...]

Do words like "chasing" and "ambulance" come to mind ?

And luckily for me, it seems the premiere of this "highly tuneful" ballet will happen in Moscow - although no details of this are yet available.  Presumably you have to buy the Dream Machine and enter your own subconscious to get the date and venue information? Wink

I don't know this composer Keith Hearne. Did you find out where the premier is going to be, Reiner?

Crisps!

You just know, somehow, that this is never going to happen.

"Chasing" and "Mercedes" possibly?

You'll note that I refrained from entitling the thread 'Fasten Your Seatbelts'.

The website mentions things that will happen "after the Moscow premiere takes place", but there are no dates or venues mentioned for this event.  Apparently the score for the ballet has already been recorded by the "Moscow Symphony Orchestra" (sic).  I guess this was a low-cost way for the composer to get his score played by an orchestra,  and that the "soundtrack" now created would be used on tape for performances?

I have not heard or seen any information about this ballet in Moscow.  I have to say that as a purely cynical piece of marketing they would probably get good audiences in Russia,  where most people seem to believe that Diana was murdered by The Duke Of Edinburgh, The Archbishop of Canterbury, Prince Charles, Nicholas Soames, the SAS, Mossad, the Freemasons, "the Greys", the Illuminati, or any combination of the above acting in concert.

I am repelled by this project - in the sense of someone else having thought of it first Smiley

The balletomanes among you will know that this subject is pure Kenneth MacMillan. It's got everything he wanted in a ballet.

Reiner, may be you still can join the project or contribute to it. Or better (more interesting) things will come your way soon. It is always like this for me.

I wasn't being entirely serious with my regrets, t-p Wink   I would be very happy if the Royal Family quietly retired from British public life, and from their constitutional role simultaneously.   Although I suppose the media would simply find some other son or daughter of rich parents to write about when he splits up with his girlfriend, or is sighted when too drunk to get into a taxi without falling over....

I did not understand the title. I thought it was a fairytale. I am so deep witted. Please forgive me.
